About the Role
As a sprinkler fitter, your daily responsibilities include cutting, threading, assembling, and repairing a variety of fire sprinkler pipe so that install will meet and surpass all relevant fire codes in both commercial and residential buildings. We pride ourselves in providing top-level service to our clients, so our ideal candidate is committed to perfecting their work to the smallest detail. This position requires the ability to manage job sites to ensure safety standards are met and are completed in allotted times.
Duties include and are not limited to:
Execute fire sprinkler design plans
Manage materials delivered to job site
Use hand and power tools
Cut and thread pipe
Assures the correct assembly, installation, and adjustment of all installs, maintenance and service
Maintain accurate and precise documentation daily
Oversee work of apprentices, Mentor and coach as necessary
Maintain knowledge of current industry standards and new technologies
Maintain compliance with all company and state/federal safety standards, regulations, and procedures
Perform work in an efficient and organized manner
Communicate in a professional manner and provide excellent customer service
Display professional appearance and act as company representative
Job Requirements
Licensed fire sprinkler fitter
4-5 years experience
Have a valid drivers license
At least 18 years old and able to work in US
Can pass drug test
Able to read tape measure
Can lift 100 lbs. minimally, repeatedly
Extensive knowledge of various types of Sprinkler Systems
Knowledge of NFPA codes and standards
Read and understand fire sprinkler drawings and blueprints.
Test piping systems for leaks and read gauges.
Can climb ladders and scaffolds
Able to stand for at least 8 hours
